Oval Cut
The oval cut diamond is very comparable to a round diamond in that it is brilliant cut and possesses similar levels of shine. However, these unique diamonds are more rare and appear bigger than they are due to their shape, while making the finger it decorates look slimmer. Often, an oval cut diamond will be arranged with smaller diamonds on either side within the setting.
