Hi friends! I’m Jothi (Jody). I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and came to St. Thomas 30 years ago when I got married

I met my husband through common friends when he was visiting Kuala Lumpur and we fell in love. My husband earlier lived in New York but due to the weather he had moved to St. Thomas. So when I got married I came to St. Thomas. It was tough adjusting to the small island life after coming from the hustle and bustle of a big city. At times it would even be depressing. At that time, I started assisting my husband in the business and that’s where most of my experience comes from today. I have always been fond of jewelry and have a keen eye for designer pieces which has helped me tremendously. I’m blessed to have 3 daughters who reside in Atlanta. It makes me so proud to see them transform from young girls into beautiful, strong and independent ladies. I enjoy spending time and traveling with them.

I became a part of the Grand Jewelers family after my husband closed his business and moved into the real estate field. At Grand, I enjoy meeting new people every day and connecting with them. It also helps keep my passion alive for jewelry.
