This month, Grand Jewelers proudly accepts the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence – its third since 2015. Founded eight years ago, TripAdvisor’s honor recognizes hospitality businesses that have consistently earned strong traveler reviews over the course of the last year. Certificate of Excellence recipients run the gamut; restaurateurs, hoteliers, entrepreneurs, and guides from around the world are being recognized for superior customer service. This year’s winners manage B&Bs and world-class hotels; hole-in-the-wall attractions and world-class museums; tiny cafes and Michelin-starred restaurants. Needless to say, Grand Jewelers is thrilled to occupy a position on this year’s roster of excellence.
“The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence helps travelers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service,” reports Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing at TripAdvisor. A proprietary algorithm helps to determine which businesses make the cut. “We’re proud to play this integral role in helping travelers feel more confident in their booking decisions,” Liesman remarks, adding that previous winners have boasted their awards by means of roadside billboards and even hot air balloons.
TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence attests to the quality, quantity, and relevance of traveler reviews uploaded to TripAdvisor’s website over a twelve-month period. In order to qualify for consideration of the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor “bubble rating” of four out of five stars – at the very least. Businesses must hold a minimum number of reviews, and need to have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least twelve months prior.
