Red Carpet Jewelry: 4 Trends We Love from the 2025 Golden Globes

February 25, 2025

Most of us are still settling into new routines and intentions for 2025. But celebs are already jumping in head first, venturing onto the red carpet as the award season officially kicks off.

Sure, we love seeing which of our favorite movies, shows, and musicians will take home the industry’s top honors. But we also can’t resist soaking in the fashion of it all. And not even one month in, there’s definitely an array of emerging trends to take note of.

The Golden Globes recently aired, celebrating the best in film and television. Though they also gave viewers a first look at Hollywood’s hottest fashion styles to watch over the coming months.

We’re still talking about the wacky mint green suit and bucket hat Jeremy Strong whipped out, or Zendaya’s nod to old Hollywood glamour in Louis Vuitton.

Here at Grand Jewelers, we’re looking closer at the details bringing these looks together: from multiple rings to simple bracelets, sleek wrist watches to carefully curated rings, and plenty more. And make no mistake: You don’t have to be one of these elite few to embrace these trends for yourself.

Here are the top jewelry trends from the 2025 Golden Globes we have our eyes on:

1. Simple but splashy bracelets

There were plenty of loud, flashy accessories on the red carpet this year, but we were more drawn to the simpler choices. Namely, many celebs went the stunning but simplistic route with their bracelets. There was still plenty of bling, but these stylish bracelets mostly helped complement the entire look rather than making a bold statement on their own.

Take Pamela Anderson’s simple diamond bracelet placed over a long, black glove. It perfectly contrasts her glamorous, all-black dress while nodding to the diamonds around her neck. Anderson’s accessories are minimal but help the monochromatic look feel more dynamic and harmonious.

Jeanne Cadieu’s black-and-white ensemble stands out by itself no doubt, a somewhat androgynous design blending a suit and gown into one. Her thin, jewel-studded bracelet is a nice touch without making the entire look feel too busy.

The men didn’t disappoint here, either. Timothée Chalamet rocked a simple but stylish bracelet, complete with a jeweled accent at the center lightly mirroring the white and blue in his shirt and tie.

Andrew Scott also added two white, beaded bracelets to his ensemble, a nice off-set to his otherwise top-to-bottom baby blue Vivienne Westwood suit. Scott shows that less can be more with jewelry — especially when highlighting such an eccentric main piece.

2. Accent with a sleek wrist watch

Wrist watches never go out of style, and this year’s Golden Globes made that abundantly clear. Of course, it’s still all about the full picture. But this classic accessory might be all you need to pull an outfit together and might even help add a bit more personality to your look.

Colman Domingo brought a splash of color to his otherwise eclectic black-and-white ensemble with his watch. The small, light blue face felt harmonious with his choice in rings. But in an otherwise fairly loud outfit, Domingo wisely kept his watch classy and simple.

And watches aren’t just for the boys. Complete with a gorgeous, all-black gown, Michelle Yeoh balanced out this high-glam look with a matching black Cartier watch with silver accents – a light nod to her other accessories.

It’s subtle, casual, and even feels a little risky given the rest of her look. But Yeoh definitely makes it work.

3. Bringing the bling with earrings

When it comes to earrings, the Golden Globes red carpet had a bit of everything. Some celebs opted for more simple, quaint pieces while others fully leaned into elegance with dangle earrings and showy hoops.

What caught our eye? We loved the stars who made statements by playing with color and contrast through their large, jewel-forward pieces.

There’s Mikey Madison’s stunning pair of oblong jeweled earrings, beautifully matching her only other accessory, a large ring on her right hand. The diamonds feel fresh next to her Bottega Venta dress, adorned with large, scale-like gold sequins. And they’re a more dynamic choice than simply adding more of the same color into the mix.

Keri Russell similarly used her earrings to make the rest of her look pop even more. Her Stephanie Rolland couture gown is a beautiful, milky cream and feels even more eye-catching sandwiched between the large, jet-black jewels in her ears and matching black heels.

4. The more rings, the merrier!

A ring can act as a small but satisfying way to complete a look… but why stop there? We saw plenty of stars going all out with the ice on their fingers, rocking at least three or four rings between both hands.

Take Cara Delevingne’s collection of diamond bands on both hands, bringing out the shimmer in her Gucci halter gown and calling attention to the complimentary jewels hanging from her ears.

There’s also Quinta Brunson, who paired a mix of low-key silver with bolder, brown rings. Our eyes were drawn to her brown velvet custom Robèrto Cavalli Couture gown with hand-embroidered crystals and beads.

Then you have those celebs who are fully unafraid to make a statement, like Kali Reis. Her unique, exaggerated suit already did the trick, but Reis doubled down with a collection of distinct rings. Each design stands out and shows off her personality, with one simple band and another large jewel on her right hand, complete with a large copper butterfly and flat silver piece on her left.
