Pear Cut
The pear cut diamond looks as though one half of a round cut and one half of a marquise cut diamond were attached in the middle. Another very symmetrical cut, the pear shape is typically worn with the point facing away from the wearer. This cut in particular will vary depending on whether it is set on a ring, on a necklace, or in earrings, with narrower shapes preferable for earrings.
