Our Story
Grand Jewelers was founded by Kishoo (Jack) Sakhrani and his brothers in 1982. They had a humble philosophy to treat each customer who walks through the door as a member of their family. His key to success was more than just sales. His motto to success was the following:
It is about the quality and design of the piece. It is about the moment and experience that each piece of jewelry creates every time the client puts it on. It is about making sure that every client walks out with a smile on their face and returns back to our store year after year.
This philosophy has led to tens of thousands of satisfied customers over the last 33 years. In 1991, Jack expanded the business to St. Maarten and in 2016 we celebrated our 25th year on St. Maarten. He brought his family members from all over the world to both islands to work with him, and to make sure that his strong customer service continued. The family at Grand Jewelers travels throughout the world to make sure that we have the finest selection of jewelry to appeal to everyone’s tastes. After his passing in 2001, the next generation of his family continues to serve each customer with his same passion. We look forward to welcoming you to our new online store and both of our beautiful locations on St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
